Our first episode of 2021 features the winners of the three-minute thesis contest at Northeastern University. In third place was Alicia Volmar with her thesis abstract "The structural basis of allosteric communication networks of Ras GTPases and their oncogenic mutants." In second place was Theresa Davenport with her thesis "Restoring oyster reefs for the benefit of fish and crabs: an examination across multiple spatial scales." And in first place was Hajar Owji with her thesis "Optimization of Bioethanol Production in Colza."
